CLUJ-NAPOCA - ROMANIA. THIS TIME IN ENGLISH

Specially for Loredana, who was so very interested in our little adventure, for the first time my post in english (sorry Loredana I won't try it in romanian;). We arrived to Cluj Napoca late evening and it was even later evening than in Poland as we changed the time zone (on low capacity bike it tastes better:)and the clock is now one hour forward. I came to a sad conclusion while I was collecting kilometers on the highway to Cluj. Unfortunately it's true that we have one of the worsts roads in Europe:) This what is an ordinary road (these few kilometers of brand new highways are not changing the picture) in PL is comparable only to Slovakian standards (which are a little higher in fact) the rest left us far behind. And it's even more depressing when we realize that Romania's joined EU three years later than we did. I simply can't think up how it's possible to have still such mess instead of flat roads with no holes:( Anyway there are a lots of sights worth to be seen in Cluj so tomorrow we'd like to travel all over the city by foot (today we saw most of the central part from the motorcycle). Big thanks to Loredana and a Gentleman (don' know his name) who help us to find a nice place to stay for a night.
Ps. I almost forgot - we are in transylvania which is Dracula's teritory - brrr:)
Ps2. See the picture - the view was awesome.

1 komentarz:

  1. I think one of the reasons Romania develops that rapidly is the fact that hundreds of israeli Jews make large investments over there (I know it from my israeli friends).
On the other hand Romania is still discriminated in Europe - in UK for instance romanians have much less rights than poles...
Anyway - the most important thing is that you're having lovely time over there:)
PS. don't get yourself bitten by the Dracula :P
